Sandra Díaz nació en Buenos Aires, pero desde hace 26 años vive en Fisterra, pueblo natal de su madre.
Es autodidacta, el dibujo y la pintura siempre han sido una de sus grandes pasiones, un modo de mostrar sus sentimientos, su manera de ver las cosas y su perspectiva del mundo.
Imparte desde el 2002 clases extraescolares de dibujo en los colegios de Nuestra Señora del Carmen y Mar de Fora.
El material con el que más trabaja es el óleo, aunque también le gusta el carboncillo, el lápiz de grafito y la acuarela.
Participó en el X bienal de pintura, balconadas de Betanzos 2006 y en el certamen de pintura de Cambre del 2006.
