Este viernes 05 de agosto a las 19h tendrá lugar en la sala de exposiciones que gestiona la Asociación de Empresarios y de Promoción turística de Camariñas en el faro vilán la inauguración de la exposición de escultura de Javier Lavandeira y se podrá ver durante todo el mes de agosto en horario de 11h a 21h.
JAVIER LAVANDEIRA nacido en Suiza y descendiente de gallegos, regresó a su tierra con 14 anos. Comenzó a mostrar su faceta artística desde pequeño. Cuando acabó los estudios obligatorios optó por formarse en este ámbito, cursando Bachillerato de Artes en A Coruña y posteriormente el título de Canteiro e Mestre Canteiro en A Escola de Canteiros de Pontevedra (2007-2012). Además posee la Carta de Artesano de “ Cantería e talla de pedra e ou mármore” concedida por A Xunta de Galicia (2013). A día de hoy, trabaja en el negocio familiar relacionado.
En estos últimos años obtuvo numerosos premios de modelado con piezas hechas de diverso material (cemento y escayola) y participó en diversos certámenes de escultura.
