Desde la Asociación de Empresarios y de Promoción Turística de Camariñas queremos informar que durante el mes de octubre podrán disfrutar en la sala que gestionamos en el faro Vilán de la exposición de pintura “Veo, luego existe”, una reflexión sobre la percepción de Mareiras.
María Eiras (Mareiras). Licenciada en Psicología y Graduada en Bellas Artes. Desde 2011 es directora de Mareiras Espacio de Arte en Santiago de Compostela, en donde realiza tareas de docencia y de gestión de proyectos culturales, actividad que compagina con su faceta artística.
Se trata de una artista que trabaja con la sombra, y el poder evocador de la mancha. En esta ocasión se presenta un proyecto centrado en los mecanismos de la percepción, y de cómo ésta es un proceso subjetivo e individual. Nuestro ojo capta la información, pero es nuestro cerebro el que da forma a esos datos y serán nuestras experiencias, nuestra subjetividad la que nos haga sentir una u otra cosa.
Las obras que componen la muestra, pretenden dar información suficiente para situar al espectador en un determinado lugar, pero no cerrar demasiado para que sea éste el que complete el proceso, decidiendo qué ve en cada una de las obras.
Más de treinta cuadros, de pequeño y gran formato, que tienen en común una sola cosa, la presencia de una línea de horizonte, por eso se ha elegido este faro, ya que desde sus ventanas lo que podemos ver es precisamente eso, una infinita y eterna línea….
Algunos de los cuadros, estarán acompañados de unos textos de la escritora Silvana Lameiro Micciche, que con su prosa plástica, fresca y sugerente, dan su particular visión de los mismos…
Mareiras, ha participado en exposiciones tanto colectivas como individuales. Entre las primeras destacamos, su participación en la I Edición de Libro de Artista de la Galería Alda con Limón (2017), el Festival «Miradas de Mujeres» y en la III Edición de Arte y un Café (2014), «Portas Abertas» en el Forum Eugenio Almeida en Portugal en 2013, V Certamen de «Mujeres y Arte» (2011), o «Container Inside» (2012) en el seno de su participación en el I Encuentro de Artistas Jóvenes Cidade da Cultura.
Individualmente, ha expuesto en la galería El Taller en 2013, en el CS Ensanche, en el seno de la III Edición del Café Con en el AC Palacio del Carmen.
Su obra aparece reflejada en el catálogo «Arte Abastos», en el catálogo virtual «Palabras de Ida y Vuelta», organizado por la revista de arte Masdearte y LAISLA revista-objeto presentado en ARCO en 2011 y aparece publicada en Inside. Catálogo Cidade da Cultura de Galicia. 2012 y Tfg 2010. Facultade Bellas Artes de Pontevedra.
